More Archival and Website Curation
I spent this whole week just writing, but I also started archiving even more poetic websites, or internet art that is produced in recent times. I relate the philosophy of collecting and gathering to Mindy Seu's project. Mindy Seu created the Cyberfeminism Index where she collected, shared and eventually created Cyberfeminism Index. She uses Ursula K. Le Guin’s Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction 2 (1986), in which she posits the first human tool as the basket, not the spear, thereby recasting the first protagonist as a gatherer, not a hunter. This has also inspired me to start facilitating conversations with internet artists and designers.

Updated form and concept of website
Garden Web Sitemap
With dissertation out of the way, I feel more assured to be working on my website again. I realised the idea of Quiet Rituals didn't really felt right. The concept of a garden is more appropriate, as it is a place where people can come together and share their thoughts and feelings, rest, play, explore. Previously in semester one, the experiments (Cursor Party, Collaborative Poetry, and Gestures to Browsers) didn't really lead to anywhere, and i think it left users confused about the aim and objective of the website. This time, with my dissertation down, and the reflection of the making part, I feel more confident to come out with a clearer concept for my website.
