Presentation Preparation

This week I was not able to research more on what I wanted to work on, and I was afraid to delve into the web as I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to generate an outcome out of it. However, I looked for a different way that could bring in the interactivity aspect of the project and looked for living materials to be input into for human-computer interaction.

Material Experimentation

This project Mycelium of All Beings explores the life forms that human microbiota can shape and delves into the ethical boundaries of human-microbe relationships and the natural potential of human microbiota. I thought this was an interesting use and experimentation of mycelium used as a pigment to make produce colours into artefacts.

More Research to be Done

Unfortunately, not much research could be done because of the lack of time due to working on an exhibition for Singapore Design Week. Juggling between 2 large projects is more challenging than I expected. Progress is slow, but I’ll continue to make my way there slowly as of now.
