Week 15

Final Reflection

Final Reflection

Sorry, I got too tired to write about Week 14. But I still want to wrap up my CPJ with a reflection on my FYP journey. Doing this FYP has been a really humbling experience. Personally, I've always valued following my curiosities and experimenting, but of course, with that, the outcome doesn't always end up looking visually polished or immediately exciting. That’s something I’ve slowly learnt to accept, understand, and even embrace over the course of my time here. This project was challenging for me, especially because it was so personal. It was interesting too, though, dealing with the topic of technology through a more personal and poetic lens felt like a very artistic approach. But honestly, a lot of these ideas only started to make sense because someone designed something — whether it was a website or a book — that made these concepts easier to understand and more accessible to a general audience. And it really did work! Throughout the project, I was constantly filled with self-doubt, mostly because the approach felt so unfamiliar. I was really scared that I was going to fail most of the time, lol. Garden Web is definitely something I wish could have been even more lovely and interesting, but I’ve also come to realise how technically challenging it actually is… Overall, I still love the web :) Thanks, Andreas, for allowing me to explore a topic like this!
